Swindon Police have arrested a person following an assault close to Jesters Snooker Corridor in Swindon within the early hours of yesterday morning- 22 December.
At round 2am yesterday – 22 December – officers situated a distressed girl on Drakes Approach after a person had initially made off from officers.
The pressure say he was shortly situated and detained, and in the course of the detention he sprayed an officer within the face with deodorant and bit him.
The 32-year-old was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency employee.
Additional to the pressure’s enquiries, he was later arrested on suspicion of assaulting the lady after leaving Jesters Snooker Corridor.
He was interviewed at Gablecross Police Station and has been launched on bail while police enquiries proceed.
